Objectives

The market department gives member companies the following benefits:

  • Access to market intelligence in relation to interior furnishing products and contract projects (communal spaces)
  • Combining efforts for promoting the members on relevant sales channels and markets

This department specializes in activities for promoting companies in the contract furnishing channel.

It organizes a range of complementary activities for the contract hospitality channels, specializing in interior design for hotels:

  • InteriHotel: Hotel interior design marketplace. The leading meeting point in Southern Europe in terms of opinion leaders, promotion and manufacturers of hotel interior design products. Held in Barcelona every year, more than 200 companies are participating in the event in 2017.
  • InteriHOTEL Pop-Ups. These are held in areas with a high concentration of hotels (The Balearic Islands, the Costa del Sol, the Canary Islands) with around 30 companies taking part.
  • Permanent promotional platforms designed for leading opinions in the hotel contract channel. WEcontract in Barcelona is the first of these.
  • B2B e-Marketplace for hotel interior design (development in progress)

This area provides support for the member companies’ internationalization through exploratory missions, direct and reverse trade missions (in collaboration with other organizations) and group internationalization projects.
