CRAFT 4.0

Enabling the potential of handicraft CRAFT 4.0

Summary

CRAFT 4.0 aims to facilitate access to additive manufacturing technology for traditional manufacturing sectors, including furniture and home interior. The project aims to improve the digital skills of artists and craftspeople who want to learn and acquire new skills in digital modelling and 3D printing. A training programme will be developed to acquire technical knowledge (2D/3D CAD, Blender 3D, Tinkercad 3D Modelling, etc.) and also strategic knowledge (entrepreneurship, marketing, use of ICTs in manufacturing, etc.). The training material will be implemented on an interactive e-learning platform available in 4 languages.

Execution period: 01/01/2019 - 29/02/2021 

Applicable results for companies

  • Training course available in 4 languages implemented on an interactive and collaborative e-learning platform (available after project completion).
  • Possibility to participate in the pilot training course during the project implementation.
